What information do I get about each operator?
Name, certificate number, the course or equipment they are certified on, certificate validity, mobile number and email address. Home addresses and identity documents are never shared.
How can I check an operator's certificate is genuine?
Enter the certificate number on our public verification page to confirm it is genuine and currently valid.
Does GESTA supply operators or charge a placement fee?
GESTA is a training and certification academy, not a manpower agency. The directory lets you contact certified operators yourself; terms of employment are agreed directly between you and the operator.
Can I hire Indian forklift operators for jobs in Dubai, Saudi Arabia or Qatar?
Yes, many listed operators are open to overseas roles. Employers recruiting from India for overseas jobs must follow India's emigration rules (for example, recruiting through a registered recruiting agent and the eMigrate system where applicable) and the destination country's licensing requirements.
What is a BOPT operator?
A BOPT (battery-operated pallet truck) operator runs an electric pallet truck used to move pallets across warehouse floors and loading docks. It is a separate skill from driving a counterbalance forklift or reach truck.
